Leaving Savannah, and taking our time to get across to Atlanta. We’ve learned that we have a “max” distance that we like to travel each day, and when you consider a 2-year old having to sit in a car seat for extended periods of time, while being potty trained… stops are imperative.
On our way to Junior Nationals at Georgia Tech, we had a quick stop at the Scenic Mountain Campground a bit over half way. Decent place for a quick stop, and if you walk to the right spot at sunrise… it IS very scenic.
We ended the day at Stone Mountain Park outside of Atlanta, where we’ll be for the next week+.
Going to be fun seeing many old friends, and watching Junior Nats.
